1. How close is Villa Caroline to the Blue Lagoon (Oludeniz)? The famous Blue Lagoon is only 5 minutes away by car or minibus (dolmus). The minibuses pass right in front of the villa every few minutes, making transportation very easy and cheap.
2. Is the pool private or shared? Villa Caroline features a 50 m² large private pool that is exclusively for your use. To ensure hygiene, the pool is professionally cleaned, and its chemical levels are checked daily.
3. What is the weather like at the villa? Thanks to our location near the Babadag mountain forest and our high altitude, the air is much fresher and cooler than at sea level. The low humidity levels mean you won’t feel the oppressive heat, even in July or August.
4. Can we walk to restaurants and bars? Yes! We are located on Ovacık Street, and the lively center of Hisaronu (full of restaurants, bars, and shops) is within walking distance.
5. How far is the villa from the airport? We are approximately a 60-minute drive from Dalaman International Airport (DLM). We can also help you arrange private airport transfers upon request.
6. Is the villa suitable for families with children? Absolutely. We are a family-oriented villa with a grass-covered children’s playground and a secure garden area.
7. Where can we buy fresh food? You can visit the weekly local farmers’ markets (bazaars) in Fethiye or Ovacik for fresh fruits and vegetables. Additionally, Fethiye’s famous Fish Market is a great place for a fresh Mediterranean dinner.
